American Airlines recently released their 2024 financial information. The airline recorded a 2024 annual revenue of $54.2 billion, with a fourth-quarter revenue of $13.7 billion. American Airlines recently announced in December that they have entered into a new 10-year agreement with Citi, whereas City will be the exclusive issuer of American Airlines’ co-branded credit card—AAdvantage®. This agreement will start in 2026 and is expected to drive exponential values for both the financial and air transport giants.
